Monthly Horoscope

Taurus
Throughout 2021 the lunar nodes have been working to maintain a balance between your two money houses and therefore between money coming in and money going out. For much of the year, the balance has swung from one side of the financial fence to the other but there is a chance this month to finally find the right balance. At the start of the year, the balance of power was on the income side of the financial fence before Mars' return to your financial sector in March shifted it onto the other side of the fence. This began a period of planetary focus on money matters that only ended when Mercury left last month. Mercury's departure left the North Node on its own in your income sector while on the other side of the financial fence in the South Node still had the asteroid Juno keeping the focus on money matters. While not a major player, this put more weight on money matters. The only way to find that elusive balance between income and money matters that the lunar nodes have been striving for all year is to have another minor player return to your income sector to even the scales and that is exactly what you have. It was in the closing hours of July that the dwarf planet Ceres returned to your income sector, on a mission to redefine your income needs and priorities. Juno's direct turn in your financial sector on 3rd August will also ensure that just as income and money matters become more balanced, on both fronts you are now looking to the future. While Juno has spent months in retrograde motion, it was Mercury's retrograde phase in your income sector that kept him here that long, allowing you to look to the future but with 20/20 hindsight on both sides of the financial fence. One planet benefiting from having Ceres in your income sector is Venus, with the planet of money returning to your work sector on 16th August to fuel your job confidence, attract opportunities and steer things in a lucrative direction.

Gemini
When Mercury left your income sector on 28th July he not only wrapped up his own short 16 day visit but all planetary activity on this side of the financial fence for the year. However, as well as leaving you with the smart head for money needed to keep your head in the game and your feet on the ground, Mercury wrapped up a period of continuous planetary activity that began with Mars' return in April. This has been a win/win, leaving you with more than enough momentum and resources while taking the pressure off Pluto in your financial sector. Since Pluto's return to your financial sector in 2008, where the focus is more on what you do with and how you manage the money you have, every planet that returns to your income sector will move into opposition. This year, as well as the Sun, Mercury and Venus, who will move through during the middle months of every year, you have had Mars move through. It was during Mercury's final seven days in your income sector that there were three clashes between income and money matters, one between the Sun and Pluto, another between Mercury and Pluto and between the Moon and Mars. This kept both sides of the financial fence on their toes, something that you can now benefit from. As you move into the new month it has only been three days since Mercury left your income sector, with his smart head for money and advantage as Neptune spends his first full month back on his own in your career sector. Meanwhile, as the first visit since the last planet left your income sector, the Moon's visit from 5th August to 7th August will not only sharpen your nose for money but could act as a trigger for still untapped income potential. In the background, Pluto is quietly drawing the focus back onto money matters without the drama of recent months.

Cancer
There is some real competition between both sides of the financial fence for the first and only time this year. While your income sector has been active since Venus and Mars returned in June and both clashed with Saturn in your financial sector in their early days, there was no real competition between the two. In retrograde motion and on his own since May, Saturn's focus has been on financial housekeeping and his only beef with the planets in your income sector a need to also be mindful of what you do with and how you manage the money you have. It wasn't until Mars' final 36 hours in your income sector that the real competition began when Jupiter retrograded back into your financial sector. This happened in the final days of July and as you move into the new month Mars is gone and Jupiter is back, ready to make the most of the doors open to the past and second chances. Jupiter spent nearly five months here earlier in the year but there was no planetary activity in your income sector at the time while the Sun will always spend the first three weeks of August in your income sector. While Venus left your income sector last month, with Mercury here until 12th August and the Sun until 23rd August, both sides of the financial fence are competing for your attention. While there might be times when there is some financial tension, with both the Sun and Mercury spending their final hours in your income sector clashed with Jupiter in your financial sector, this will keep both sides of the financial fence on their toes. With the Sun's departure ending all planetary activity on the income front for the year, a bit of pushback from lucky Jupiter is the motivation needed to make these final days count. At the same time, Mercury's smart head for money will be an advantage on both sides of the financial fence.

Leo
Jupiter's departure from your financial sector late last month has taken away the heavy focus on money matters but with Neptune staying behind, not enough to see things go off the boil. With Jupiter returning later in the year but Neptune in retrograde motion until November, money matters are taking just enough of a back seat to no longer require as much focus while giving the other side of the financial fence more room to grow and expand. On his own and in retrograde motion, Neptune won't be as insistent that you focus on money matters as Jupiter was and is happy to move into review mode. This is good news for the planets on the other side of the financial fence in your income sector. While the Sun's return to your income sector on 23rd August will always turn the solar spotlight onto income matters at this time of year and last year, this marked the start of a limited period of potential it is a different story this year. In 2020 Venus, the planet of money didn't return to your income sector until October and Mars didn't return at all yet both start the month here. Venus returned before Jupiter left your financial sector and they did clash, creating the only real competition between income and money matters and this is something that the planet of money has already turned into motivation. Venus will leave your income sector on 16th August but with Mercury here from 12th August to 30th August, the Sun from 23rd August and Mars all month, this is the epicentre of all planetary activity on the income front this year. While they won't all be here at the same time, with Venus leaving before the Sun returns, every planet that will visit your income sector in 2021 will be here at some point this month. That Jupiter's departure from your financial sector has allowed money matters to take a backseat is a case of perfect timing. The most potentially lucrative days of an already lucrative month could be from 10th August to 12th August.

Virgo
This is often a quiet point of any financial year, a month when the dynamics of the financial year are preparing to shift but when part of the process is that money matters go quiet. Because the dwarf planet Eris has been in your financial sector for decades while not a major player, this does mean that there will always be at least some focus on money matters all year. It is different on the other side of the financial fence, with planetary activity in your income sector for just a few months each year. Fortunately, that happens while Eris is in retrograde motion, conveniently standing back in order to give income matters their turn. Eris will always turn retrograde in July and then spend the rest of the year in review mode. With the Sun not returning to your income sector until the latter part of September each year, this makes August a transition month, with a chance for money matters to move into review mode before the income side of the financial fence opens up. This is where things stand at the start of the month but you won't need to wait until later next month for income opportunities to open up, with Venus kicking things off over a month earlier. That Venus, the planet of money is the first planet to return means that they also get off to a lucrative start. Venus' return to your income sector on 16th August will kick off the most lucrative months of 2021 and while she is only here for 24 days Mercury, who will return on 30th August is here until November. With the Sun and Mars, making his first visit in two years both returning next month, the income side of the financial fence will remain dominant for several months. What makes the timing auspicious is that this is Jupiter's first full month back in your work sector while the dwarf planet Ceres is spending her first full month in your career sector in four years.

Libra
While Venus won't return to your income sector until 11th August to begin the first planetary activity on the income front this year, once this begins the most lucrative months of 2021 will run through to December. With the last four months of the year destined to be the most lucrative, there is a chance first to not so much put money matters to bed but get them to a point where they can be put aside while you turn your attention onto the income side of the financial fence. You might not be there yet but preparation for that has already begun. It began in the closing hours of July when the dwarf planet Ceres left your financial sector. This was less a case of ending Ceres' mission to update your financial needs and priorities and more a case of putting this on hold until she returns in December. This will be after the last planet has left your income sector, with Ceres putting things on hold while the focus shifts onto the income side of the financial fence. While that won't happen until next month, this is giving Uranus a chance to spend a month on his own and prepare for his retrograde turn in your financial sector on 20th August. This is when money matters will move into review mode, leaving the way clear for income matters to have their turn just three weeks later. Meanwhile, the Moon will bring a valuable chance to check in on both sides of the financial fence. The Moon will begin the month in your financial sector and until leaving on 2nd August allows you to begin the month with your financial instincts and imagination fuelled from the start. By the time the Moon comes full circle from 27th August to 30th August Uranus will be in retrograde motion and money matters will be in review mode. Meanwhile, it is midmonth that the Moon's return to your income sector from 14th August to 16th August will sharpen your nose for money and act as a trigger. This is also the point when Venus' approach should be on your radar.

Scorpio
For the first time this year, there is a chance to find the right balance between money coming in and money going out, something that the lunar nodes have been working towards all year. While the lunar nodes themselves, the North Node in your financial sector and the South Node in your income sector are evenly balanced, it is the additional planetary activity that has kept things out of balance. For several months this was due to the excess of planetary activity in your financial sector, the side of the financial fence where the focus is more on what you do with and how you manage the money you have. However, while Mercury's departure from your financial sector last month ended all planetary activity there, with the asteroid Juno in your income sector this put more weight onto the income side of the financial fence. This was and is good news of income potential and especially with so much planetary activity on the career front, this meant that things were still out of balance. While only a lightweight, Juno was still putting more weight on income matters. The only way to achieve the right balance is to have another lightweight in your financial sector and that is what you have. It was in the closing hours of July that the dwarf planet Ceres returned to your financial sector to begin a review of your financial needs and priorities. While larger than Juno, Ceres is not large enough to create real competition and in addition, is less focused on promoting or pushing money matters and more on reviewing your financial needs and priorities. With Juno turning direct in your income sector on 3rd August and with the support of the Sun and Mercury in your career sector, this will create just enough competition to keep you motivated and on your toes. The real prize this month is a chance to finally achieve a more even balance between money coming in and money going out.

Sagittarius
The Sun and Mercury's departure from your financial sector in the latter days of last month has been a win/win for both sides of the financial fence. On the one hand, after months of planetary activity that began with Mars' return to your financial sector in April, money matters have received all of the input needed to keep things on track for the rest of the year. This is the side of the financial fence that is more focused on your financial situation and money matters and especially when it comes to what you do with and how you manage the money you have. As the last planet to leave, Mercury's departure late last month has left you with the smart head for money needed to keep your head in the game and to think on your feet when you need to but without a constant need to overthink things. Meanwhile, this has been good news for Pluto, who in retrograde motion in your income sector is back to being the only planet in either of your two money houses. As the Sun, Mercury, Venus and Mars passed through your financial sector over recent months, they all clashed with Pluto, creating the potential for financial tension as the two sides of the financial fence clashed. However, this has kept you on your toes and as those same planets return to your career sector, a friendly aspect to Pluto is turning things around. This time, before Venus leaves your career sector on 16th August, Mercury on 30th August and the Sun and Mars next month, they will all form a friendly aspect to Pluto. This creates a month where new professional and untapped income potential can go hand in hand. The Moon's return to your income sector from 18th August to 20th August will help you capitalise on this. Meanwhile, the Moon's first visit to your financial sector since Mercury left from 5th August to 7th August will be a chance to check in and tie up loose ends.

Capricorn
There is a case for viewing Jupiter's return to your income sector in the closing days of July as a case of both good and bad timing. Good timing, because Jupiter has returned to continue what he began in the early months of the year, opening the doors to the past, second chances and untapped income potential just as new doors are due to open on the job front. Jupiter is spending his first full month back in your income sector just as the dwarf planet Ceres is spending her first full month in your work sector and ahead of Venus' return to your work sector on 16th August. Venus is the first planet to reach your work sector this year and returning and leaving before the Sun even gets here, has a chance to make it all about fuelling your job confidence, attracting opportunities and steering things in a lucrative direction. To find Jupiter in your income sector is bringing the planets of money and luck together like this for the first time in over a decade. This bodes well for a good month across the income, work and career fronts and especially in the second half of the month. On the other hand, because Jupiter has returned while the Sun and Mercury are in your financial sector, this will create a clash. You have already experienced this when Jupiter retrograded back into your income sector and straight into an opposition with Mars, in his final 36 hours in your financial sector. Mars left on 30th July so any financial tension this may have created has not only dialled back but as the warrior planet of the cosmos, he used this to make the final hours of a push to take your financial power back count. Mercury will leave your financial sector on 12th August and the Sun on 23rd August, ending all planetary activity on this side of the financial fence. Until then there will be some competition between income and money matters, keeping both sides of the financial fence on their toes.

Aquarius
The dynamics of this financial year are shifting and it all began in the final days of July. Until then all the planetary activity has been on the income side of the financial fence, with continuous planetary activity there all year. While dreamy Neptune has been in your income sector since 2012 and won't leave until 2026, keeping a permanent focus on income matters, things become a lot more empowered when Jupiter, the planet of luck and expansion returned in May. Jupiter and Neptune both turned retrograde in June and this is what saw Jupiter retrograde back out at the end of July. However, before Jupiter could leave Venus returned to your financial sector, beginning the first planetary activity on this side of the financial fence this year. Had Venus returned eight days later she would have missed Jupiter but instead, this saw the planets of money and luck clash during important days on both sides of the financial fence for each. While this may have created some financial tension, as Venus is the only planet that Jupiter will clash with during the three visits it will make to your income sector during 2021 and 2022, she is the right planet to turn this into motivation. That clash is already behind you and as you move into the new month Jupiter is gone and Mars has joined Venus in your financial sector. While Venus will leave your financial sector on 16th August, with Mercury here from 12th August to 30th August, the Sun from 23rd August and Mars all month, they are making the most of Jupiter's absence from your income sector to give money matters as much support, resources and momentum as possible. While they won't all be here at the same time, with every planet that will visit your financial sector this year all here at some point, this is the most important month of the year for money matters.

Pisces
There is a shift in the dynamics of this financial year, with the only difference being that this is happening a month ahead of schedule. Having the dwarf planet Eris in your income sector for decades means that income matters will never completely go off the boil. However, Eris will always spend the second half of each year in retrograde motion and as the Sun will always returning to your financial sector in September, this is when money matters can get some much needed attention. Because Eris will turn retrograde in July and the Sun doesn't return to your financial sector until the latter part of September, August is usually a transition month. With Eris in retrograde motion income matters are in review mode but as August is always an active month on the job front there is a chance to explore untapped income potential before turning the focus onto money matters. That is still the case except the focus on money matters will be brought forward when Venus, the planet of money returns to your financial sector on 16th August, followed by Mercury's return on 30th August. Venus will have been and gone by the time the Sun turns the solar spotlight onto your financial situation and money matters, giving her a chance to first fuel your confidence and update your financial wish list. This frees Venus to focus on the 'what' knowing that the planets following in her footsteps can focus on the 'when, where and how'. In particular Mercury, who will return on 30th August for what should be a 14 to 15 day visit. Instead, a retrograde phase will keep Mercury here until November, with the smart head for money needed to keep your head in the game during the most active months of the year for money matters. This includes when Mars returns next month for the first time in two years, on a mission to take your financial power back.

Aries
The dynamics of this financial year are shifting though it won't happen overnight, with August a firebreak before the focus shifts from the income side of the financial fence to money matters. So far this year there has been no planetary activity in your financial sector, where the focus is on your financial situation and money matters, especially when it comes to what you do with and how you manage the money you have. That will remain the case until Venus returns to your financial sector next month, though the Moon's return from 14th August to 16th August will give you a chance to check in. Until now, all the planetary activity has been on the income side of the financial fence and while there is planetary activity here all year, with Ceres gone and Uranus turning retrograde on 20th August things are dialling back. This will give money matters a chance to have their turn but with time to first get income matters to a place where they no longer need as much attention. It was in the closing hours of July that the dwarf planet Ceres left your income sector, wrapping up a mission to update your income needs and priorities. With Uranus slowing down ahead of his retrograde turn and growing support from the planets in your work sector, a drop in urgency is accompanied by a rise in confidence. The one planet that will be drawing on Uranus' sense of where the money is will be Venus. Until leaving your work sector on 16th August, the planet of money is on a mission to fuel your job confidence, attract opportunities and steer things in a lucrative direction. The Moon will begin the month in your income sector and until leaving on 2nd August will ensure you start the month with a sharp nose for money and a lucrative sense of direction. By the time the Moon comes full circle from 27th August to 30th August Uranus will be in retrograde motion, with a lot more focus on untapped income potential.
